My son love this bike. It was super easy to assemble (and I suck at putting things together). However, we have taken it for less than 10 rides on rooted trails and the front tire is definitely showing signs of wear and of use. It hasn't detracted from the actual use of the bike yet but I'm given how much wear is shown on the tire already, I'm not expecting this bike to last long.

We went with this model (foam tires) because we live in an area with pesky thorns and such, where air tires never last. Even though the tires are foam, they ride well- they are not a hard plastic (not the noisy plastic you see on some ride on toys), they are firm but not hard. The rest of the bike is well built- it is lightweight and perfect for my almost 3 year old. I wasn't sure what to expect due to the lower price point on this model compared to the other kazam models, but I think it's just great and probably the price is lower just due to the foam tires vs air tires on the other kazam bikes. Overall, we are really happy with this bike.
My 4-year old rides a two-wheeler because of this balance bike!

Great balance bike for the price. Well-built bike. I like that the tires are a foam so I don't have to worry about the tires going flat. Despite being foam, the tires are durable. My 4-year old is not particularly athletic and the first summer we had the bike he had issues with it. However, in 2019 at 4 years old, as soon as the weather got warm enough he was on the balance bike daily. I could tell the difference in that he rode much better at 4 - he was bigger and stronger and could push the balance bike quite well. Within 3 weeks he tried out his older brother's old 2 wheeler and was riding a REAL bike within 2 minutes, with no training wheels! He was so proud of himself - this balance bike was totally worth the money. My daughter, who is 2 now, will be learning to ride a bike using this balance bike. This bike will last more than 1 kid, no problem at all.
4-year-old ditched his training wheels within 2 hours of using this balance bike.

We bought this bike for our son (he's two and doesn't really get how it works yet) but I am sold on the balance bike concept based on our neighbor's experience with it. Our neighbor is a 4-year-old who has been riding around on his normal bike with training wheels all year. One day, he stole the balance bike off of our porch. He would push himself at high speeds with both feet, then pick his feet up and
coast for a bit. He did this for a couple of hours. He decided right then and there that he was ready for his dad to take the training wheels off of his bike. Now that he had the hang of going fast and balancing the bike, he was ready to add pedaling to the mix. He figured out exactly what to do and in one evening he mastered riding a bike almost completely on his own. I only give it a 4 because we realized when we adjusted the handle bar height that the bar was rusty. Its only 2 months old. We will have to remember to dry it with a towel if it gets wet.

After seeing the Shark Tank episode featuring Kazam, I ordered it for my 3-year old grandson. It arrive nicely packaged and is very easy to assemble. The fit and finish of the parts shows that it is a quality product. I highly recommend that you and your child watch the YouTube videos on balance bike. You'll get great info on how to get your child started on the Kazam and your child also has a great image of what he can do on this neat little bike. My grandson smiles from ear to ear each time he rides the bike and is definitely growing more confident on each ride. Don't forget to start your instructions with teaching your child how to get on and get off the bike. Helmet is an absolute must now and forever! I really admire the women who pitched this product on Shark Tank and that was one of the reasons why I purchased it. Mark Cuban is a hometown {Pittsburgh} hero of mine and his name is prominently posted on the Kazam box. I highly recommend this product!
