It doesn't take long to determine how to squeeze the right amount. For some people, it might be just as easy to pour from a mixing bowl or cup. It worked great when I made pancakes. I think it will probably work great when I use it to fill cupcakes - no overfilling & no splattering.

The media could not be loaded. I gave it 4 stars because it does help make your baking mess-free. I use it for pancakes, muffins, donuts like in the video, etc.
I didn't give it all 5 stars because no matter how thick or thin the batter is, it takes forever to come out as you can see in the video. It makes my hand tired when I have to make a large batch of whatever I'm making since I have to hold it open forever to get the batter to come out. I've started to just use a knife to "help" the batter get out.
