I bought the exact same lab coat at the same size last year. This one is slightly smaller through the hip area. I am not a big person so it was a surprise that it had gotten tighter. I like the fabric and design so I'll still wear it.

I ordered a size up (4) from my usual size (2), as recommended. It fit in the shoulders and length. I am very fit at 4 inches of height and 112 lbs. and I can't snap it in the middle. I have no extra body fat in the middle. The woman's size appears made for a straight up and down male to me. I didn't bother returning it since I can just wear it unsnapped and I am loathe to do returns. There were no loose cotton threads on mine when it arrived.

The jacket is nice, a little longer than the unisex coat I ordered in the past.These are the only lab coats I can find that don't contain polyester (which I am allergic to). I was happy to find this option. I read a review that said if you are usually you a size 6 to order a 4, so I did but, I can't button the bottom buttons. The jacket seems to run true to size...next time I will order a 6.

It does it's job it's a nice thick material. It was kind of big, it said it was so I ordered small and it was still big, I ordered a size 10 and I'm usually a 12, but after washing it a few times it shrunk some. Overall it's great and what I wanted and expected.
