Good quality bell but will wait and see if it really works

Seems to be a good quality product but seems like my dog is just going to be ringing it to go outside even when she doesn't need to go. She was scared of it at first. No place to mount it on the wall next to the door since my fireplace is in the way so I made a stand out of some pieces of oak I had laying. This will let me raise it up as she grows and also put it in her pen she's in there. I'll update my review after she's using it a while.
Anyone with an indoor pet should have one of these!

I should have gotten this little bell a long time ago! My GSP picked up on what to do within 10 minutes. Of course it took a little treat to teach her to hit the bell but she caught on fast. I used a hot dog and rubbed the bell with it to put the scent on it and as soon as she made it ring she was rewarded. Next thing I know she's hitting that bell for more. She went through 3 hot dogs before I realized I should let her outside and then reward her for hitting the bell. I know she's not completely broke yet but It's amazing how excited a person can get when they hear a bell that means let me out to use the bathroom.
The bell is extremely loud when hit hard. I can tell when my cat hits it to play compared to when my German hits it. I've not experienced it while I was sleeping yet but I'm sure it will wake me.
The construction seems flimsy and the screws are really small. My door trim is of a softer wood and I don't know how long these screws will last being smacked around by a large beast.
Even if this thing breaks in a month, I will keep a supply of them on hand for this price. As far as looks go I think it will become a conversation piece and our guests will want to watch her ring it. Perhaps not what follows but you have to take the good with the bad.

This has been our little miracle bell. I bought the gogo bell when our malshi was four months old. I was looking for an effective way to potty train our new puppy and to relieve the stress of frequent accidents. Well, our family was amazed because she used the bell within thirty minutes of installation. We peppered her with praises and rewarded her with a treat and she caught on very quickly. Since puppies need to go potty more frequently, it felt as though she was ringing it all day :) but that amount lessened as she got older. Now at almost a year, she only rings the bell 3-4 times a day. The bell is loud enough to be heard throughout the house but not an annoying sound. I would definitely recommend.
Dog likes it - we REALLY like it!

We have a new puppy and he's not quite house trained yet. We were looking for a low tech solution to help him let us know when its time to go outside. We mounted this (at puppy height) next to the door, now he rings it to get outside (of course we give him a treat when he rings it and bring him immediately outside to the grass so gets the connection).

Nice bell - not too loud and cleverly mounted.
Super product, but get your own screws

Wonderful house-training tool. Easily heard across the house, but not obnoxious. My dog caught on really fast. In my experience: command strips don't hold it on. Also wound up peeling the paint off my wall. Also, the screws included are very short - they would only work if screwing directly into wood (doorframe). They pulled right out of the drywall when the dog got anxious to let us know he needed to go outside. We got longer screws that would go through the drywall and into the stud and it works great.
