This item is GREAT. My dad is on hospice care at home and pretty much bed ridden. We were getting up at 4 am to make sure that someone was awake before he was. Now... with his call button, he lets us know whenever he needs something and we relish the idea of no one needing to be within 10-15 range to hear him. The system is loud (can be adjusted though) and has a good variety of sound options, so you'll never be 'unavailable' to your loved one. This was a great find. It gives the care giver and the patient both peace of mind. If you are in a similar situation, I'd highly recommend this product.

Works fine, although the sender (button) is too easly triggered-I glued an "O" ring (rubber) to recess the button...much better-

Needed a multi-button, multi-pager system that could be set up so that every pager answered every button, so that buttons and pagers could be left in strategic locations. Ordered 3 of these sets and easily programmed each pager to respond to all three buttons. Everything worked as advertised. Battery life, so far, seems pretty good. The only suggestion I would make to the manufacturer would be to make the pagers capable of making a different sound for each button. That way the caregiver would know whether to go to the bedroom, bath, etc. Without having to do a search. However, being able to leave pagers in each area of the house beats having to carry one around by miles. Versatile, good volume, programmable tune.

Now my live-in father-in-law can summons me at will. It works; very well. Maybe too well. When I bought it I told him it was for emergencies. You know, falling down in the shower, setting fire to our home, breaking an appendage, and the like. Well, apparently, to him, running out of fruit is, in fact, a dire situation. Along with fixing his TV that has mysteriously, once again, managed to fall under the control of some foreign force out to deny said father-in-law of his TV watching pleasure. And, let us not forget how daughter-in-law must coming running any time he would like me to clip his toenails, cut his hair, get his laundry, take away his leftovers and dirty dishes, ask what we'll be having for dinner, or what the weather is going to do today, etc...

The paging system is nice and loud, but can be lowered; but never ignored. Oh no, never ignored. Never. It will only be rung again. And again. And again; each time setting off an avalanche of hysteria amongst your particular pack of canine companions. And, side note, when father-in-law gets bored he likes to meow at said pack, getting them worked up into a frenzy. And, then, likes to complain to others about the noisy dogs in the house.

I like the numerous melodies and chimes available on the device. Be sure, whatever you do, to find the shortest chime possible as soon as you get this call button! Trust me on this. Trust me.

All things considered this paging system is a HUGE step up from the days when father-in-law would call me on his cellphone many, many, many times a day, usually not saying anything, but instead hanging up as soon as I answered. Apparently, he believed this was a good way to get my attention, though he never stated to me that that was the plan. It was quite like being prank called 20+ times a day.

I just received this item and tested it out. I love it! It allows me to be outside or next door at the neighbors house without worrying about my Grandmother. If she needs me, she just presses the button. The distance is more than adequate as it transmits up to 500 feet. This will provide me and Grandma a tremendous amount of peace of mind. The price is more than reasonable and I would recommend this to anyone in need of being out of hearing distance from their patient/care recipient. Amazon prime delivered to my doorstep within 18 hours of ordering which is also a huge convenience since I am unable to leave my Grandmother to even go shopping. Happy Happy Happy!
