A little help.
David L. Jeffries•June 16, 2017
I'm very happy with this unit so far. Was very happy with assembly, instructions, hardware, exc. Very simple and logical. Big problem, in my haste I cracked the nose cone. How do I order a replacement? I have no contact information. I'm really happy with the manual brake, works great. 2 and half amps lite wind. I love the slight hum means power.

Manual says activation begins at approximately 6 miles per hour. It actually takes wind speeds at 12 to 14 miles per hour before it slowly starts spinning creating its minimal of wattage. I have my turbine 28 feet in the air free of all obstructions and trees. I am a bit disappointed at this as most of our wins are at 10 miles an hour or so, I relied on the answers from the company I found within other questions in the feedback. I found out differently once I went through all the trouble and added expense to have it nearly 30 feet in the air. It is a lot of work as one could imagine to have this fully installed in the recommended high elevation on a secured pole with many support cables and ready to operate. I would not recommend unless you live in an area that supports 20 plus mile per hour winds on a regular basis. Remember 400 watt output is its maximum (30+ mph), it begins with a single-digit wattage output and from there wattage increases as the wind speed increases. If you experience 20 + mile per hour winds on a regular basis will be very satisfied if not I would consider more solar panels and or larger battery Bank investment.

400watts is a joke, over the last month its made a max of 3amps in 15-25mph winds, otherwise it works fine but dont think your going to keep your offgrid battery's charged with this alone, its a Ok supplement to an existing solar system, money is probably better spent on more panels though
First windmill and loving it!
Blue Skies•December 12, 2016
This is my first windmill and I just love it. I do have solar panels but they just lay there and don't move, although they are putting out power but with a windmill you can actually see something going on at least when the wind is blowing. It does seem to be very well constructed and I'm looking forward to many years of enjoyable use. The nice thing about this is the sun doesn't have to be out to create usable power and is a great addition to solar power. Also the people at Digisine are very good in helping you out.
I'd like adjustable voltage
Autumn Gorny•July 28, 2016
I'd like adjustable voltage, but it does what it says well. I have it set up on a 7' pole for now and 15' from the house so wind gusts more than it would if set up as instructed and it makes it swing. but with colorado plains high winds it has gone through storms just fine. just make sure to set the brake on if there is a storm. so that being said it performs well good volts most of the time, at least when there is wind. good product so far.
