My German Shepherd is developing arthritis in his right wrist and the brace is long enough to cover most of his foreleg up to knee and does an outstanding job of supporting him on our very long walks (4 miles at a time, usually) and keeps any joint swelling to a bare minimum afterward, which our vet says is key to keeping him relatively free from painful inflammation. We machine wash the brace, dry in the sun, and it keeps its shape much better than a previous brand which tended to slip down around his toes within a matter of weeks. Best of all, Bear does not object to wearing it!

Won't fit over dog's foot - useless!

Impossible to get on dog. Measuring the circumference of the dog's leg is USELESS if you cannot get the item over the dog's foot (3-5 times the circumference of the leg). When your dog is injured or suffering with inflammation, you would have to SQUEEZE the dog's foot to get the bandage on, which causes pain. I'm returning, and using regular athletic tape instead.
