This roller was ordered to replace the original which ended up with a melted end due to what I think was trapped hair. This one is wood, as pictured, and not plastic like the original. Fit exactly as it should, easy to install once you figure out how to maneuver the belt. Works 100% as it should and totally fixed issues I was having with the vacuum previously, including premature belt wear out.

I can't believe how much better my vacuum works. My fault for not looking at the beater bar! The belt was way out of shape also. I will definitely check it more often when it seems more difficult to push. Now it seems to run away on its own!!
