I honestly didn't get these for bike rims, I got these for my parrot cages to have a toys attached to their cages.. These work well for the purpose I got them for. I simply have them attached to the cage wires. They are able to twist them and move them around with easy. They have yet to be able to get them off.. There is a wide variety of colors to keep the entertained too.
