I bought this to hang video game controllers on. I installed it right into the sides of my book case. 2 for each controller at the desired width. They blend into the wood of the bookcase beautifully. Installation took a little practice but after the first peg the rest were easy. Pre drill hole: hammer in with a regular hammer. Done. I had one left over to install in my desk to hang headphones off of. In the future, I may order more for cord organization as they seem to be long enough to support wrapping cords around.
