Ordered in olive. It is darker than the picture but in a good way. Seems wellmade and the suede look piping is a nice touch. I'm 5'4" and weigh about 125. Went with Medium, as bust 36-37" is me, and the fit is just right. I don't understand the reviewer who posted pics with fleece lining. This has no fleece lining. It is lightly padded with fabric lining and has a sleek, but not tight, fit. Very happy with the purchase.

I want to like this but it's way too big. I followed the size chart and bought the XL. When it arrived it said 1XL, which is not the same as XL. I contacted the merchant and they said their XL is a 1XL, too bad. I'm very disappointed because I wanted a wool-lined vest for the extra warmth over the standard vest. Yes, I can return it, but I paid shipping to get it, I have to pay shipping to return it, and for the cost of the item paying shipping two ways doesn't make any sense. It's extra frustrating because I have bought the XL in other models from NE People and those are an actual XL and fit perfectly. Very disappointed.

This jacket arrived so quickly!! I was amazed. Two days in advance of the earliest promised date. As other reviews have indicated it runs a bit small and as I usually wear a small or x-small, I ordered a medium to be safe. It fits just right. The sleeve length is a little short, but I have long arms. I think the quality is great for the price. Just be aware that the dark brown style jacket has a soft beige piping trim. It is subtle, but if you aren't expecting it, you may not like it. I thought it looked fine. Very happy with the purchase.

I have a fitted quilted jacket at home in burgundy, and was hoping to get a similar item in navy. The coat is very good quality in terms and lining and thickness and very warm, but the fit leaves a lot to be desired. This coat isn't slim fit as the photo would suggest, it looks very puffy and does not flatter my waist or chest. The jacket was shorter than expected. I wanted something that covered my hips a bit: I'm 5'1", and this barely covered my waist. If I lifted my arms my stomach would hang out. Also, there is an excess of lining in the sleeves, so when you push your arms through the excess lining comes out of the wrists and you have to tuck it back in. This jacket will work nicely for walking my dog on cold nights, but will not be my daytime coat as I prefer something that flatters my shape more.

It wasn't as structured as I thought it would be. In the picture it is fit, straight, and sturdy/rigid looking. It's advertised as "light weight slim fit." When I got it in a bag though I was surprised that the vest has a heavy and thick wool lining and the pics advertised don't show the lining visibly. So two main issues:
1. Too bulky. The wool lining makes the vest feel bulky and not flattering whatsoever. The side panels are great but the small of the back area is too bulky if you have a small waist as it doesn't flatter the back.
2. The shoulder to shoulder width is too short. Not made for normal medium size. Seems to be made for petite/ short waist folks.
3. Short length. It's not a long inseam. Seems to be made for petite/ short waist folks.
I normally wear a size Medium and realized now that I should have ordered a Large. if you do order from them. Order a size up. I requested a return but I'm sure I would have to pay the shipping. I think the Large might be too big but we'll see.
