Awesome little product. Wish I could get it to "stick" in place with the little suction cups but it really does catch the hair. My daughter has extremely long thick hair and we are constantly having to clean the drain but this product is stopping the hair from going down the drain.

Not convinced it works for all tubs

I'm not convinced it gets all that much, and it doesnt suction cup to the bottom of my tub because my tub is textured, and curved!
I had one at my old house and it worked much better, but the tub was smooth and flat

Defective Suction Cups
A reader•January 24, 2018
I bought this product to replace a similar design that I cannot find anymore. The plastic had become old and stiff. I need it badly to avoid constant drain clogs from my very thick hair. I try to plaster every strand I can to the shower wall to keep it from the drain, but some always makes its way down the drain, causing an eventual clog. When these drain protectors finally came, imagine my surprise when the suction cups would not depress to form a seal. I even used the end of an old toothbrush to mash them down as hard as I possibly could. I think the circumference is too small for the height of the plastic. This is such a simple design. How could anyone get this wrong? Maybe it is deliberate so we all have high plumbing bills and/or have to use toxic drain cleaners all the time. Why is it SO HARD TO FIND a drain protector? My hair goes right under the ones without suction cups. I even bought a useless stainless steel one once.
