This makes your skin soft but if you have a big mistake with a spray tan it will not remove it. It will take off the light spray only to make the extra dark stand out more.

It was ok, did not get all old self-tanner off! But, I did have a few dark layers around my knees and ankles. Works well on just one light layer of self-tanner.

product was already opened when I received it, did not remove my self tanner at all.
Good if you're desperate; requires scrubbing and multiple coats
Erica Olmstead•April 13, 2017
I rarely write reviews, but felt I need to for this. I bought this product out of major desperation when a tan job went totally awry and nothing else would work. I tried baking soda and lemon juice, body scrubs, bronze buffers, you name it, no luck. I was to the point of wearing pants, longer sleeved shirts and shoes that covered my feet in 75-80 degree weather and makeup on my feet. Which was peak humiliation.
I didn't want to pay almost ~$30 for a tanning remover but I was desperate. I'm giving a 3 star review because while this product did work better than anything else I tried, it still did not work as effectively as advertised or work fully. I had to do 3 coats for 20 minutes a piece and scrub with an exfoliating glove to get it to work. So if you are as desperate as I am, I'd recommend it, but if not, meh.
