The product smells good and my hair looks amazing after use. It's the second It's a 10 product I've ever used. My hair is short and I'm growing it out from a pixie cut. This makes it so much easier to style and it makes my hair look shiny and feel silky. I was previously using Redken products in my hair to style it, but after using this for awhile now, I favor this one over Redken.

If I would say "It's an 8.5" rather than a 10, but I do like this cream well enough in conjunction with my heavy duty rinse-out conditioner. I have fine but thickish, straight hair that has been bleached and dyed for over a year to remove 15 years of black hair dye. I was looking for a detangler and something to fight the minor frizz and dryness resulting from my hair color adventures and while this isn't a miracle cure it detangles well, keeps my hair fairly smooth, and smells good. It cuts down my drying time a surprising amount. I found the suggested dime size is a little too much so I use a pea sized amount which doesn't make my hair greasy (it doesn't seem like much but after applying you can tell the difference). I wash my hair every other day and this does not make it look greasy the second day. For the price I may purchase this cream again if I don't find something more reparative in the meantime.

My hair is very fine and normally soft & silky (thanks, in part, to It's a 10 Shampoo & Leave-in Treatment). Lately though, it's been frizzy, and it tangles so easily that I have to wear it up.

I received this in the afternoon, and couldn't wait to try it, so I applied it to my dry dair, twice, and the softness & silky feeling returned.

My hair is still a little frizzy, but not as bad as before. I can just trim that off. I'm giving it 5 stars Because I've tried so many products, and this is the only product to make my hair shiny & healthy looking, without making it look oily, should I accidentally use a drop more than what's needed. And, it's the only product to give my hair back the softness it once had but was missing.

I usually buy the styling cream but I decided to try the styling potion instead. The product does not apply well. It leaves residue on my hair. The curls do not look natural. The hair looks dry. For curly hair, I definitely prefer and recommend the Its a 10 Styling cream. Thumbs down for the Styling Potion

As someone with fine hair that gets oily between washings - I've tried many styling products like this that just weight my hair down and make it look more oily. This one does NOT. It controls frizz and flyaways while making your hair SO soft and smell soooo good. I can't stop smelling my hair and my hubby loves the smell too. You don't need very much - I use about a nickel sized amount and rub it in damp hair after showering (I rub it in my hair everywhere except for the root/scalp) - then you can air-dry or blow-dry and style.
