Brush handle cracked

I bought these brushes and was really excited to use them (also paid almost double for what amazon is now selling them for), and after washing them according to care instructions, the handle to one of my kabuki brushes is completely cracked. I am disappointed that these do not live up to the expected quality, and especially since I splurged and paid $50.00 for the set. I really wanted to like this set of brushes but I don't think I will purchase any further products from this company.

These brushes have turned out to be my 'go to' brushes. I adore them. Not only are they so pretty but they are very high quality. I look forward to using them. I love makeup and everything to do with it and of course I already have a quite large collection of brushes which made me debate if I really needed more. Mostly for reasons like expense and room (where do I keep all these brushes???). Well, needless to say I couldn't resist the lure of these beauties and after a couple weeks of reading reviews they are now in my collection. Front and center where they deserve to be. They are a delight to use and I keep them in the lovely cylinder box they came in. It is quite sturdy and should last for years as a container. Its made of that really thick cardboard. Also it matches my new favorite foundation (Doll10) which arrived at the same time. It might seem frivolous but I love matching pretties on my vanity. They were indeed a splurge considering that I actually didn't need them but I love owning them. The price is really quite reasonable. I can definitely recommend these brushes.

I Love these brushes. I bought them after receiving the Eye brushes that worked out really well. I figured that if the Eye brushes were great the other brushes had to be equally great! The brushes are very very soft, no shedding and makeup application is awesome. Considering the price, these brushes compare to any high end brushes.

The bristles are extremely soft and feel very gentle on the skin. These certainly surpass many of the other brush sets I have tried here on Amazon, and are up to par with more high end brands at only a fraction of the cost. My only minor complaint is the slight chemical smell that comes from the brushes upon initially opening the case. But as what other reviewers mentioned, this was easily fixed by washing them. I am looking forward to trying out Lamora's other brush sets.
I hope they release other face and eye brush sets with more of a variety of shapes. I would love if they released a large tapered/rounded powder brush!
