This has been a great option for my situation. I work in a detention facility and we are not able to use staples for security reasons. I have used this with both regular loose leaf paper as well as standard computer paper. Both have connected well and seem to hold well enough for our purposes. It has worked for attaching two pages of computer paper together as well as 5 pages. I have not tried more than 5 sheets of notebook paper, but it may work for a page or two more since it is a little thinner than computer paper.
Pages don't stay together - I returned the product.

I ordered this, and a similar Kokuyo stapler ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CRFKGFU/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ). This one did not hold pages together at all - I returned it. The Kokuyo worked much better.

Love this product. Got it w/ the 2 day prime shipping. I love the feel of the item. I usually use it for 2-3 sheets of paper. I wouldn't recommend 'stapling' anything more than 5 pages. The key to making sure that the stapler works correctly is to make sure that when you 'staple' you squeeze the items together all the way and make sure to slowly release it, not fling it open. I would buy another one in a heart beat and even thing about buying the HD one for home!

This staple-less gadget is waaaay better than I expectedly. It creates a very strong connection between the papers by forming a tab that it some how inserts into a slot it creates. Love it. It's a little larger than I expected, but works beautifully. So glad I purchased this.

I have used a stapless stapler for years and loved it because it was an easy way to attach papers without all the bulkiness of a metal staple. When mine broke, I had to find a replacement. This stapler is very sturdy, but it doesn't allow the paper to enter in far enough leaving the "staple" too close to the edge of the paper. Many times I have to add a second, or even third, "staple" because it would tear through the edge of the paper. To add an extra 1/2" to the feed would solve the problem and is such an easy fix. Why they would design this one with such a shallow feed is beyond me. The only thing that this one has over others is that it can "staple" 5 sheets of paper.
