I bought these in April 2013 after TTC since June 2012. In January 2013, I actually did get pregnant. I used store bought HPTs, 5/6 store bought HPTs were positive, that's how I knew I was. I followed that up with blood test end of January 2013 to confirm, HCG levels were too low, so doc ordered another HCG test for the following week. Between waiting for second blood test, I started my period and knew I was pregnant anymore, very early miscarriage. After 3 more months of no success, I stumbled upon these and thought why not? I've spend way too much on store OPKs and HPTs already. It took me a couple months to get the hang of using the ovulation strips, turns out, the strips told me I ovulated a few days sooner than what the app calculator says, no wonder we haven't had any success yet. I tested few times a day, morning, afternoon, late afternoon, sometimes evening. I would get a faint test line most of the time with the ovulation strips, but on one particular day, day 15 of cycle (I'm regular), the test line was as dark as the control line, that's how I knew these tests work. We didn't get pregnant in April 2013...I used the HCG strips too, A LOT, and every time, no line at all, just saw the dark pink control line. I used the HCG strips a few times too during my cycle when I knew I was definitely not pregnant and couldn't possibly be, just to make sure these strips aren't defective. So far so good, both tests (LH and HCG) work like they should.

In May 2013, was the month I decided to stop obsessing and just do it when we wanted to do it, well, we did it around day 14, 15, 16 of my cycle, when I thought I would ovulate based on previous discovery using these LH strips. In May 2013, I didn't use the LH strips as regularly as I did in April because I told myself to stop being so insanely obsessive.

At about 10 DPO, I decided to give my last few HCG strips a whirl, to really just get rid of them and entertain the thought that I might be pregnant, I wasn't expecting much, just a control line like usual, so I peed in a cup and dipped the stick and went about my day for a little bit and came back like 10 minutes later to it, and there it was, a very very faint test line next to the control line. I couldn't believe it. I thought I was seeing things. But remembered I've used these HCG strips before and every single time, there was no line next to the control line, and this time, there was, a faint one, but that line was there indeed.

Next day, 11 DPO, I dipped the HCG strip again, and once again, a faint line next to control line. This gave me even more hope. Then, the next day, 12 DPO (today actually, same day as this review), in the morning, peed in a cup, dipped the second to last HCG strip, and there it was again, the test line, a little darker this time than the others I have used. I thought, I gotta be pregnant. I was still skeptical just because I was, I didn't want to be too excited since the last time I was this excited, it ended in an early chemical pregnancy (miscarriage). I stupidly poured the FMU out into the toilet and thought "OMG, why did I do that?!?!" I was going to use my one Clear Blue digital test with that urine to confirm the HCG Wondfo strip. I couldn't wait till the next morning to use my Clear Blue test, so I waited a few minutes and had to go pee again, so I used that urine with the Clear Blue HPT, I was expecting to wait like 2-3 minutes to see results, but it felt like within a minute I saw that beautiful word "Pregnant"!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe it, I ran and showed the hubby, we couldn't be more excited, but also we are still weary of what could happen this early in pregnancy. The last time we got those positives, we told too many people and we shouldn't have. This time, it's just between us until we're further along and first thing Monday morning, I'm calling the doc and having her order me a blood test to confirm and then we shall wait. For now, I'll start using prenatal gummy vitamins to make sure I'm healthy as can be for baby...and hopefully, history won't repeat itself this time. Lots of luck to you all who are TTC!!!

If you're reluctant to buy these, please save yourself the wonder and money. I swear these work. I never write reviews for anything really, and this is the one time I feel that I must write this review on my experience with these and share it. I hope this review is helpful to anyone TTC and wondering how they can do it and not break the bank in the process.

Hopefully in 10 weeks or so, I can write an update to this review with positive news! :)

Also, I Googled what these Wondfo positive HCG strips should look like, and sure enough, the pics I saw of people who used these strips and took pics of the line gradually getting darker reconfirmed my results and that's what really prompted me to use the more expensive HPTs :)

In my original view, I said, I wasn't sure if it was working. However, I have found my peak which is good. I'm taking away a star though because after doing some research, it looks like they sent me some old strips in new packaging. Thankfully my strips were not yet expired, however that could be an explanation for the recent negative reviews. I could easily see how packing up old strips in new packaging could go wrong and I don't really think it was honest thing for the company to do

The media could not be loaded. I love these cheap little test strips! We have been pregnant 10 times and Wondfo pregnancy test strips have picked up our positives before any other commercial home pregnancy test products we have used....and I feel like we have used them all. I always get a faint line on Wondfo strips at 8-9 DPO (Days Post Ovulation) and it takes other tests days to catch up and show positive. My first positive on Wondfo was on a day when my blood level was at 7, which is just unfathomable to me!! I never would have expected to see a faint line at 7, so I was hooked. I can't help myself...once I see that line, I need to keep testing and testing for days...and these tests make it possible! On the months where we didn't have positive tests, it felt better knowing that I wasn't wasting huge amounts of money for the negative results...

Like the HCG strips, the Ovulation test strips from Wondfo have always been reliable and show lines more boldly and clearly than other tests I have used. Unlike pregnancy tests, LH/Ovulation tests aren't positive unless the TEST line is as dark as or darker than the control line. Throughout your cycle, you might have different amounts of the LH (Luteinizing Hormone) in your body, so you will see a line in the TEST area...but unless it is as dark as or darker than the control line, it is not positive. Please note that many doctors suggest testing every 12 hours from cycle day 6 through ovulation, so that you make sure to catch your LH surge. I know my body and signs of ovulation very well and I always ovulate right at day 14, but I still test like a maniac...lol I do have a long LH surge, though, so I usually have a few positive tests. These are fast (Dip for 3 seconds and read at 5 mins) and reliable! I always test with a digital to confirm (Face it, the blinking smiley face is so darn encouraging!)...lol I just love these strips!

As I mentioned we have been pregnant 10 times (Twice with twins), but sadly we have also lost 7 of our babies. I have learned more than I have ever wanted to know about TTC (Trying to Conceive) and LH surges and common factors in miscarriage. One important thing that I feel compelled to share is the importance of progesterone!! I had 3 healthy babies before we lost our first angel and I thought there was "nothing wrong" with me. My doctor is amazing and ran a million tests for us even though we had lost 1 baby after 3 healthy ones...God bless her! She did find some clotting issues and autoimmune things that may have contributed to the death of our first angel, but she also noted my progesterone levels were low. She went on to check my hormone levels throughout the next couple of cycles and saw that I was really not making enough progesterone to adequately help a developing embryo. She put me on progesterone supplements from ovulation until my cycle each month (and eventually throughout my next pregnancies) in order to help me get pregnant and stay pregnant. I had never known that some things I thought were common and normal are actually signs of low progesterone:
- Brown spotting at the beginning or end of your cycle
- Breakthrough bleeding
- Short Luteal Phases (Less than 14 days from ovulation until your cycle starts)
- (In pregnancy) Cramping...CRAMPING IS NOT NORMAL...Common, yes...normal, no. It is a warning sign of low progesterone (It it also an indication of dehydration or a possible infection...always have cramping evaluated and INSIST on a progesterone level draw!!)
- (In pregnancy) Bleeding or brown spotting

If you have any of the above symptoms, please ask your doctor to check your progesterone level. During your cycle the most simple and telltale way to see if there is a progesterone issue is to check your level 7 days after ovulation. (Or IMMEDIATELY if pregnant)

When you get your BFP (Big Fat Positive/Positive Home Pregnancy Test), ask your doctors to confirm with a quantitative HCG level AND a progesterone level...even if you have never had a problem in your life. Just do it to be safe. Ask them to help you keep your progesterone levels over 20 in the beginning and they should go up from there. If the information in my review saves even ONE baby's life, then I will feel better knowing that our grief and losses have not been in vain.

In the pictures I have attached, first note my urine is extremely concentrated because I was not allowed liquids for 12 hrs before labs, but that is also when I knew my LH surge would hit...so please know I normally hydrate well! :-) The first picture is the Wondfo ovulation strip. The next one is a Wondfo strip next to another brand I have used, so you can see how the Wondfo strip is even darker and more obvious.

I have been using this brand since 2016. In my opinion they are the best for the price. The ovulation tests are more accurate then the expensive brands that give smily faces. The key is you have to read the test right at 5 minutes. If you have to take a picture for future reference do that. As you can see the LH is hard to differentiate after the tests have sat for awhile. I have always been able to detect my surge with these tests. Do not use first morning urine. I like to test mid AM then PM since some surges can be as short as 12 hours. I've used these tests to get pregnant 3 times. These HCG strips are also very good. I've been able to detect a pregnancy as early as 10DPO. I also confirmed with other types of tests (digital, cheap Walgreens tests). Sadly my most recent pregnancy did not progress. With all my other pregnancies I was able to use the HCG test strips to watch my progress. If you can see in my pictures my HCG strips did not get darker and I confirmed with a quantitative blood test that my HCG was on the very low end of positive. My line is currently fading away.

With all that being said I will always use this brand for trying to conceive. I only gave 4 stars because with the LH strips you HAVE to read the result right at 5 minutes. Which can be annoying if you don't have a lot of time on your hands.
