Worked well
kelly•February 11, 2017
Tested my microwave that sparked at the door (1 year old Panasonic) showed alarms galore around door. Tested 3 other microwaves and all the other 3 were good. So it appears that it works well enough to let you know not to use a microwave. Was easy to use and gives alarms when you are in a questionable range
A decent sanity-checker for microwave oven leaks

As others have noted in their reviews, the device is uncalibrated and provides only a figure-of-merit reading with no information of how you could translate a reading to a specific RF radiation level, and no hints of what RF level triggers the "high-level" alert. That being said, its behavior suggests that it's actually measuring radiation (i.e., not a fraud) and can be used to find radiation hotspots that one should avoid. It has no business in a laboratory, but looks like an inexpensive way to keep an eye on kitchen microwave oven leaks. It can't get more than three stars because of the lack of calibration.
Don't recommend it

Totally inadequate instructions, so I have no idea what it is telling me or how to interpret it. Don't buy it. What good is it if you can't tell what the readings mean?
everyone should check their microwave

Tried this device on a microwave which I suspected was leaking and found several areas around the door and one in back that significantly exceeded the danger level. Great product.
Five Stars
