Initially, it appeared to be very tightly constructed. But it turned out that was just manufacturing debris along the edges and interior sides. After a dozen dis-assemblies, re-assemblies with my grand-daughter, it's too loose to stay together by its own friction. The price is OK and it shipped as advertised, but search for a better one if you want quality.
Learn one solution and then you know them all.

I was super disappointed with the puzzle toys I purchased - KINGOU Wooden Magic Cube Logic Puzzle, The Diamond Cube (Monkey Pod Games), and KINGOU Wooden Puzzle Magic Ball. They work fine BUT - they ALL HAVE THE SAME SOLUTION. I thought it would be such fun to give one to each member of the family over the holidays - and we could learn our own and try to figure out others. Once we knew the solution to one, we knew it to all of them. Not very creative if you ask me.

Nice smooth exterior and goes together fine. It comes with directions about how to put it together too, in case you aren't as smart as you thought you were.

As one who loves the challenge, solving most Rubic cubes.... I was looking for something different. My father had one similar to this when I was a small child. Saw this and liked what I read in reviews. It is a very good puzzle and will get you frustrated at times. On my first try - Carefully taking it apart, watching every part as it came out - took 1/2 hour to put back together. 6 times later - it is much simpler.
This is a good quality puzzle, rating it 7 of 10 for difficulty. It looks awesome and when you take it apart in front of people and put it together is 3 minutes, they have an entirely new opinion of ya. As for the how the pieces fit, some reviews did not like it, I on the other hand feel it is just about right.
