The bag is awesome. It fits and iPad and/or Kindle very easily. I like the ability to wear it as a cross body. I know it's advertised for men but I bought it because I liked the utilitarian aspects of it. It has a waterproof drawstring for the main pouch. The only downside I would say is it's size. I thought it would be a bit smaller. It's not TOO large just a bit larger than I would prefer. The strap is awesome for being able to adjust it tighter to make it less stressful on your back. Overall, I am very satisfied and believe it to be very durable and even a bit fashionable.

This bag has won my heart! Its size is just right, and its stylish appearance adds to its appeal. My only suggestion would be to enlarge one of the side mesh pockets to accommodate a small water bottle. Despite using the bag regularly for a year, it remains in excellent condition. Without a doubt, I would gladly purchase it again.

Long ago, I had purchased my first Kaukko Canvas Messenger Bag. For over 4 or 5 years that bag performed much better than expected. Sure, there were some issues, but for the price, and styled, that bag was stolen from me.... or I would still probably have it.
The time came that I needed a messenger bag again. After looking for a similar bag that I used to own, I found the exact bag, after looking for a messenger bag, not remembering the brand name I had before.
When it arrived, it had better construction!
The Brass pieces were studier, the canvas thicker, I even noticed and improvments in the thread and seam design.
On top of those bonuses, I found that there was a whole line of matching canvas gear. From Convertible Backpack/ Laptop Bags to Messenger Bags, for any occasion.
The only drawback and the only reason I am docking this a star, is my Messenger bag came with the Older PU Leather Panel that states:

"Kaukko Brand Company Trademark" Panel.... I cannot fault the company, I knew that this panel had some mistranslated wording.... but I had hoped I would have received the updated one.
For the Price, I find both the KAUKKO Outdoor Travel Men Backpack and my matching KAUKKO Vintage Canvas Shoulder Messenger Bag arrived with a very fashionable and functional design.
To improve on their durability, I took the liberty of waxing the bags myself, in my oven at 170 F / 76 C.
The result of the matching Khaki messenger and pack canvas not only became darker, but so did the PU Leather Label and the wax further waterproofs and lubricates the brass, as well.

I ordered this in 2016 and it's as solid as ever. There's a little wear on one of the buckles, though that was from a dog attack and not the fault of the bag. People compliment it all the time. I've not had any issues and it's still as good as the day I got it. This bag is tough.
