Simple but Classy...

I'm new to Wet Shaving and while searching for accessories to complete my shaving kit, I chose this stand based on reviews and design. Reviews were high and was an item that is recommended. Style and design, although simple it has a hint of class and good quality. It also compliments the razor I chose. I gave it 4 stars due to the time I've had the stand which has only been a week and have not been able comment on durability even though it's only purpose is to hold a razor and brush I've purchased items that failed the same level of purpose. However, I would recommend this stand.

I've been using this consistently for months and it has held up. Chrome enables easy cleaning and I've seen no signs of rust (yet) despite the fact that I put a wet razor back on it.
My only complaint is that the fork which holds the razor itself is rather short. So any rocking at all of the device will cause the razor to tumble down. Be careful moving it around with the razor hanging or you can end up with a nasty gash. Other than that, very basic good here.

Stable, Could Be Wider Base

The stand is heavy enough to be stable. The bottom is well padded by a rubber-like insert and the metal never touches the sink. The notch for the shaving brush is wide enough to easily hold my brush.
I would have given it a 5 star rating if the base were wide enough to catch any water droplets coming off of my brush so they did not hit the sink.

Good Looking and Functional

I like this product. Looks great and functions well. The only issue I have is that I use a Gillette Fusion Razor that has a battery in it to vibrate the razor as you shave. The small pronged holder for the razor isn't wide enough to hold it. I modified it so it would work and haven't had any issues since. The small pronged holder is 1/2 inch wide. The larger size functions perfectly for a shave brush. Overall I like the look of the product and with some modifications function as I want it to.

Item arrived as scheduled. Problem with the product as razors, tried 2 different types, slide and rotate in the holder thus fall out. Fixed it by binding the prongs up approximately 10 degrees, keeping razors towards the vertical part of stand so they will not rotate nor slide off.
