cheaper to buy new light fixtures than these batteries

I purchased three sets to replace existing original batteries that were several years old. The company let me exchange the AA for AAA. The AAA batteries lasted almost two months with three lasting 11 months. All fixtures in full sun. All batteries (excluding the three) leaked out. Now I am out $32 worth of batteries and $99 worth of lights because of these batteries leaking.
Am going to try and figure out if there is a way to remove the corrosion from the terminals and try and salvage the $99 light fixtures. If anybody has had good luck removing battery leakage, please let me know.

I've used 6 so far. All were charged and ready to go. Tired, dead lights are bright and lasting most of the night now depending on sunshine. So far so good.
Not working for me.

I am not sure what is wrong, but I cannot get these batteries to work....the little LCD lights come on inside the house, but no lights on at night. I've bought two different brands with no good results.

Four of these won't turn off and they weren't even in a package when they arrived. There were 12 of them loose, just thrown into a manila envelope. I should have read the rest of the 1 star reviews. I will not purchase from ASC again.

Loaded them up out of the pack and the garden lamps have been coming on as expected. Only about a month so will update in a couple of months or if things deteriorate...
