I wore this with a tight dress and I'm pretty curvy. It really did flatten down my stomach and hips. Very snug and tight, but comfortable at the same time. I didn't feel suffocated. Unfortunately, the top did roll down and I needed to use tape to keep it up. When it rolled down I couldn't breathe well. The top part is super long, so beware if you're shorter. It did get a bit discolored due to my brown dress, but I'm sure it will wash out.

I've tried a few other brands and these are the best ever. Easy to pull on, and without a gap between my back and bra. The fit is very comfortable. These are exactly what I've wanted.

Good for wearing under those very lightweight dresses / sun dresses that make you feel like you have no structure or support without something else. Gives your stomach that little tension to push up against while it slims you out and spreads extra weight and bloating around. It also spread out a little roll on my ribcage that I could not get rid of that was right under my strapless bra.

It's very comfortable with the overall smoothing design versus any super harsh stomach control which I personally don't really need or want right now, especially since it's first job is for my sister's wedding all day as a matron of honor. It will be great to have for other dresses in the future as well, if it doesn't roll down!

Curious though because you can see my belly button 😂 I am bloated (and this is a very thin Birdy grey dress) so it will look better but still good to be aware!

Strapless bra I wore was Vanity Fair and I also like it!

5'4", 175lbs, 34G, 32" waist, 44" hips.
I bought these a year ago in a large and I am STILL completely in love. They stay in place all day - never roll down or up! They breathe and don't greatly affect me temperature-wise (like obviously if you're wearing them in the dead of summer, you're going to be a little warmer, but they help keep moisture away too). They wash beautifully and since I hang them to dry, they've kept their shape like they were still new. They are soft and not too tight - honestly the most comfortable shapewear I've ever owned.

I'm actually buying another pair, as well as some of the at-waist shorts, since I basically live in them during the warmer months; I love dresses and skirts and can't stand chub rub, and the slimming makes everything fit better.

I don't use the gusset; I think I'd probably miss.

I will also say that I like these way better than the sister brand *that emphasizes your assets* *cough cough* you can buy at the Bullseye place *cough cough.* The sister brand is cheaper but not as sturdy, and they roll.

I'm not sure if my spanx were appropriately sized but it didn't seem to rly hold in my tummy which was its intended purpose. Once washed a lot of lint got stuck on to the surface and on it's 2nd wear my finger went right through the material making a hole. It is comfortable when worn for long periods as well as it is easy to put on and take off for toilet use during the day. The material is also breathable and doesn't make you sweaty.
