I'm growing out my hair, so I'm pretty much living in these this summer. They are lightweight & comfortable and they stay in place fairly well. I expect they'll be useful as a gaiter or balaclava when the weather cools down. They don't seem quite long enough to pull off the pirate look, but maybe that's because I have thick hair. I'm kinda bummed that the description says you get a bonus 10th headband, but I got only the 9 that I ordered.
BTW, it offends my DIY sensibilities that these are just tubes of cloth, so I made one for myself with some cheap stretchy fabric. Mine stays in place a lot better, but these are less expensive and seem to be good enough for the job.

I wanted these to use mainly as dust masks. I bought this particular set because I couldn't live with solid colors but I also didn't want a lot of painted area which I perceived would make them less breathable and might feel scratchy and less comfortable against my face. These do appear to fit the bill nicely. They look good enough and feel even better - soft and gentle. The price was fantastic too. I say they will work fine for my intended purpose but I will definitely update this review if I find out otherwise.

The selection is almost overwhelming, but my son helped me find a set that suits my style and my "wardrobe" of field clothes -- I like to wear one around my neck when I am working outside. Love these. I love them as headbands, you can make them as wide or thin as you want. I like them for work; I put my hair in a bun and then just put the tube over my head so it hangs down in back like hair. It is more comfortable than a hairnet and a lot more colorful.

I love these! I used to wear the standard bandanas (still carry for emergency) but now that I started wearing the "sports scarf" I realized how much more efficient they are. I can go from full head wrap to head sweatband to neck warmer without ever having to stop the run.
