The skirt is measured from the bands not from what you actually wear. It is too small and won't fit even an xs (me). I love the way it is made. It has a lot of coins that gives it that nice sound, however it is not just shorter it is not as high as it seems in the picture. They have the skirt closer to the camera which makes it look bigger. Unfortunately I have to return it.
but it really sounds great compared to the simpler scarfs available here online
