Daughter loves this! She's had many several seats over the years and I always avoided these, even back with my son, thinking it would be a novelty item and somewhat cheaply made. That was a wrong assumption. She is as comfortable in it as her fancier seats and loves the Cinderella cape.
Neat product

My daughter loves this seat and can even buckle the top and bottom buckles herself. She's never been able to buckle the bottom one on any other seat. We got this one for my SUV with leather seats because the bottom is smooth like a regular booster seat and doesn't cut into the leather like my convertible seat did. We moved the convertible to our other car and this is the one that will stay with the leather seats. If you're familiar with car seat assembly, it's pretty quick and easy to put together. The chest clip is a little too easy for her to push down on her own, but she knows to keep it in the right position and can put it back just as easily as she moved it. Overall, we really like it and it's exactly what we wanted for our 4.5-year-old.

This is a great seat. My daugther loves it and the removable cape that acts as a blanket is her favorite feature. It is easy to install. The only downside is that I haven't found a way to easily remove the fabric for putting into the washing machine. Otherwise it's a great seat.
Tricky at first.

For some reason, I found this seat a bit difficult to install. The steps weren't difficult, but I had to use some serious elbow grease to get LATCH to click. At first I thought the LATCH was actually broken and that's what my first review talked about. Getting the seat right do that the seat didn't wobble was also difficult. But once installed, it's great, and I'm happy with the purchase. Now that I know the tricks to installing it, taking it out and putting it in again shouldn't be too hard. My daughter loves it today, but I have a feeling there will be a complaint about the buckle between her legs.
Fun Seat for a Booster

My 2 youngest children are 6 and 4.5 years old, my only daughter being the youngest. They love their new carseats! My son is a string bean and still feels great in the 5 point harness in the Batman, because he has smaller legs, but my daughter whom is thicker, has bigger legs and the bottom buckle doesn't go up high enough to not lunch her legs. I have seen this as a universal problem with almost all 5 point convertible carseats. It would be nice if they made a bottom buckle that could be extended instead of just short and made to move from the back hole to the front.
Besides the bottom buckle, the seats are well padded and we'll made. I'm only a bit bummed to see that if I had waited 2 more days, I would have saved about $25.
I would give 5 stars if the bottom buckle fit a bigger legged child. I don't really like to have my 4.5 year old in a lapshoulder belt already.
