D-Pad barely registers the down button.

The down button on the d-pad barely works. If I roll my thumb from the right button to the down button it doesn't register, but if I carefully press it it usually works. The rest of the controller is fine.

I don't know what people are complaining about with this, it arrived right on the date/time it said and it worked exactly as expected. All buttons work for all the games i've used it with and it appears just as sturdy as any other controllers (it is lightweight and feels pretty hollow, but seems durable as long as you aren't slamming it on the ground out of frustration). If you are looking for an inexpensive classic controller for the WII, get this. As soon as i fix my other controller i'm getting another one of these.

I purchased two of these controllers to use on my original Wii. One worked with no problems whatsoever. The other one would freak the system out whenever it was plugged in. I returned the "bad" one and ordered a replacement. When the replacement came, it, too, was messed up in exactly the same way. So far I can only get one controller to work. I'm going to try returning this next bad one and see what happens next...
So I've returned the second faulty one. I still have the first one that works just fine. I'm not buying another, though.
Update 8/13/2017 - So the controller that I had that was working has now stopped working and is exhibiting the same behavior as the others that I have returned. As of the writing of this update, I am one day past the return window so I can't return it. I cannot recommend these units - no guarantee that you'll get one that works and if it does, no guarantee for how long it will continue to function.
So I've returned the second faulty one. I still have the first one that works just fine. I'm not buying another, though.

Controllers are very low quality. I got less than 20 hours of use from each one before the broke down. The rubber caps on the left joystick ripped off and the sticks also wore out where they are not very effective anymore. Unless you are looking for a stage prop, I would strongly suggest you spend a little more money and get controllers that will last.

This classic pro wii controller works great. It looks just like an official one but is made by a third party. I got one made by Old Skool and all of the buttons work and haven't had any issues with it so far.
Note this is not an official Nintendo product but still works with wii remotes.
