To be honest, it does not have that luxury feeling that silicon normally gives off. It kind of feels more like a cheap nylon but please don't let that put you off. My kitchen is stuffed with Emile Henry, Wusthof, Mircoplane, KitchenAid, Peugoet, Le Creuset, Zwilling and tons of other ever-so-serious kitchenware. Ototo's Turquoise Jumbo Nessie is that one piece that just stands out. It says take a break and put a bit of fun back into your food preparation.
