Simply the most frustrating worthless piece of junk I have ever had the displeasure of using on the golf course.

When it worked, it worked great. Easy to read, and accurate. But, it rarely worked for long. It would turn itself off in the middle of a round, or it couldn't find the satellites the entire day, or the battery be dead or dying hours after an overnight charge. Maybe the hardware was defective and the software was buggy. Regardless, this product was a complete waste of my time and money and did nothing but infuriate me and utterly ruin my day off. The .99 golf app on your phone is 1000% better than this piece of junk.

The worst part is that the previous generation (the Bushnell neo+) worked perfectly. So... they managed to take something, and make it much much worse. I don't understand how that happens; but I won't be giving them anymore of my money, I suggest you do the same. Their priorities are clearly not in pleasing customers or making good products.

got it for $49 ....now I see the price has doubled.
Used it in multiple states on a dozen or so courses and it found the exact right course everytime. A bit slow in booting up, but once up it works immediately everywhere on the course.
I have one hole on my home course that changed design since the gps map was made...so that yardage is wrong.
I've not yet tried to upload map changes, but I understand that is possible. This was the only time I found that situation, so can live with it as is.
I keep it in the cart and let fellow golfers use it too.
wish they had these things when I was a younger golfer.

For several years I have been using a Sky Caddie SG5 but I never like the ideal of paying an annual fee. After doing some research I decided to purchase the Bushnell NEO Ghost. My Sky Caddie subscription was about to expire but before it did I did a side by side comparison with the Bushnell and Sky Caddie. I played 2 courses and Bushnell was as accurate as the Sky Caddie. My days of paying an annual fee for using a gps are over.

Total crap. Went to my course today, one of the premier courses in West Texas, and powered on the unit, selected Play Golf and waited for over 45 minutes for the unit to find a satellite. Let me tell you, I was standing on the putting green, 100 yards from the nearest tree, on a cloudless, zero humidity day, at 3500 feet. If this thing can't find a satellite there, then it isn't even worth using for the time of day. Don't buy. This one's going back asap.

Let me update. I just tried to register this at iGolf and was told the serial number was already in use. Getting the feeling this junk is recycled.

I love this yardage reader. It locates the course very fast and has a nice large digital screen. The battery lasts for at least 3 rounds of golf and it recharges quickly after which, I can put it right back in my golf bag for the next round so I never forget to take it with me. I can attach the meter in its holder right to my bag with a small carabiner. If you don't need intermediate distance reads, this is the best meter. I love it!
