As per other reviews this really is a delightful item. I love the cuckoo sound as does my 5 year old. I'm impressed it does not go off during the night when the lights are out. It's well made, easy to set up, modern and overall a great product.

Love this clock. It is adorable and I love listening to the cuckoo. The sound reminds me what time it is. This is especially helpful in the morning when I am rushing to work. I don't even have to look up at the clock. Just listen to the cuckoo! Worried the cuckoo will keep you up at night? It has a light sensor that prevents the cuckooing after dusk. My vote: I LIOVE LOVE LOVE this clock. PS I even put it together, easy- peasy!

This is just the sweetest thing ever, I'm so glad I bought it.
Don't be hasty about sending it back if the cuckoo doesn't cuckoo right off the bat. Read the instructions again, take the battery out and start over. Then give it an hour or two to get the half-hour chime right.
