Best saline spray

This is my favorite nasal spray to add moisture or to quickly cleanse my nasal passage. Great to take when camping or traveling. These cans are not used to do a full cleanse as there is not much in them to be able to fully rinse your sinuses. I like the Hypertonic better than the regular version, it just seems to moisturize better. If you are in need of a full nasal rinse, then you need the netti pot or squeeze bottles. I use the squeeze bottle method and supplement with the Hypertonic.

My M.D. Specialist recommended this to me. I have a nose which does not give me easy breathing; so I have danger of mouth-breathing, which can dry the throat & might cause tooth decay. This spray helps ease my breathing. I think it shrinks swollen nasal membranes/epithelial tissue. Normal saline is like same salt concentration as you would have in natural body fluids. Triple means 3X more concentrated. I believe that the high concentration of salt in the water causes water to come out of swollen nasal tissue & shrink the tissue. My doctor said that the spray I should use should be triple normal. I also use this company (Neil Med)'s little measured triple normal salt w/ bicarb packets to mix my own nasal irrigation fluid for irrigating the nose, using the same companies irrigation plastic bottles, used to squirt the fluid into one nostril & out the other.

We started using this at the suggestion of my allergist. It really has helped reduce sinus drainage, and moisturizes the sinuses. I find this has reduced the sinus infections I get since I stated using this. It is safe without being addictive being just saline. It really feels great using after a hot shower. Highly recommend.

I liked the well known maker of this mist and purchased for nasal congestion. It worked great and most importantly, unlike a "famous brand" with an Arm, the unit never had issue dispensing the saline mist or become stuck not allowing the fine mist to escape. I will always purchase this one.
