Initially great - not sure it will last the 18 months covered under warranty.
Scott Cuppari•December 17, 2017
I ordered this battery in October 2016 based on the positive reviews and 18 month warranty. It worked great for the first year and now in the 13th month the battery won't hold a charge. My roomba 600 series stops within a few minutes of turning on. The battery is totally dead. I've discussed the matter with iRobot several times and their customer support team assures me the base is providing an adequate charge but the battery isn't holding the charge.
I have contacted the seller to start the warranty process and will update the review based on the remediation process. **Update Jan "˜18: customer service has been great. I returned the battery for a replacement. No hassle process. I'm updating from 3 to 4 stars but can't give it a 5 bc the first battery didn't last the 18 month warranty period.

Faster Scooba 450
D. Coral•February 24, 2017
When I replaced the original battery in the Scooba 450, the first thing I noticed is that it runs a little bit faster. The Scooba is speedier moving along the floor. This is probably because Li-Ion batteries have a little bit higher voltage compared to Ni-Cd, which makes DC motors run faster. So far after several cleaning cycles these batteries are working nice. These batteries are Made in Taiwan.
light weight and double the charge
L. Nguyen•December 5, 2016
One single charge would run the routine 2 times. My 880 is no longer returning to its base after one routine of work (about 1 hour) I would leave it where it was and the next schedule routine would start it from there without getting the battery charged in between. So technically, I reduce the number of charges in its life by 1/2 or double it's life expectancy. The battery is light weight and would love to buy this again!
I was very pleased when I learned that the battery could be swapped ...
pban1•July 21, 2016
I bought my Roomba pet edition (650) from Bed Bath and Beyond following some wedding money my wife and I got for our wedding. I was very pleased when I learned that the battery could be swapped for a higher capacity model like this one, so the second I learned about it I decided to take the plunge.
Swapping the battery is easy. A couple of screws with a Phillip's head reveals the factory battery with a "pull" tab. This replacement battery started right up with the Roomba, although it did need some additional charging. No problem - after letting it charge overnight and reprogramming the schedule, it works like charm.
In terms of duration, it lasts substantially longer per charge than the standard 3300mAh battery the Roomba comes with. Keep in mind that just because the Roomba tries to dock it doesn't mean the battery is low. In the case for me, the Roomba will still want to dock just because it detects the cycle as being complete. No problem. I either just remove the doc, or start it up again and it'll get an additional hour of vaccum time before it dies.
Overall, great investment and the extra little kick it gets from the additional power is useful as well.

Roomba on steroids :)
A Dude•May 15, 2016
My Roomba 551 was used until it didn't make it "home" anymore"¦ That was a very short life for the money paid and the 18 month of working twice a week in a restricted area. So"¦ After years out of service, I discovered it in a closet while moving out old stuff. I knew that the batteries are dead"¦ I did a search and found these Li/Ion replacements. I wanted to give my Roomba a second chance before giving up on it. I also ordered a new set of brushes/filters. While waiting for the parts I gave it a great clean.
Now with the new battery pack and brushes and ten days in service, I must say that my Roomba is on steroids. It jumps up and down my area rug, air vents, while still gentle on the wall base and furniture. I can't remember seeing it so "happy" ever.
I can't speak about how long this battery will last, but each day added is a day I postpone trashing $400.
I highly recommend this battery pack.
