This is a beautiful skirt (I purchased the maroon color, and it is true to the picture and a beautiful shade), and is priced really well compared to many 25 yard skirts available to dancers. I am an ATS(R) belly dancer, and this skirt is perfect for my style of dance. It's very comparable to the Magical Fashions(R) 25-yard cotton skirts but at a more affordable price point. Like the MF skirts, these are 100% cotton and made in India. The only differences I found between this skirt and my MF shirts is that the elastic is slightly narrower and thinner, and the tiers are gathered instead of pleated, but I didn't find either of these factors to change to usage or enjoyment of the skirt. I would definitely buy another one of these skirts!

Buyer beware.... once you put this skirt on there will be much twirling! Also alot of posing and arranging of the skirt, admiring how much of it there is. In short it is stunning!
I am a size 18 - 20, and was looking for a renaissance fair costume. After having to return one outfit that was way too small even though it was a 4x, and was 85% polyester i decided that if I was going to spend that kind of money I should buy something I could actually wear outside the fair. That's when I spotted this skirt and I am so glad I did. Its so soft and pretty, roomy and the draw string allows you to get a secure fit. I've already worn it to work once. I did learn this skirt and rolling chairs do not mix, but otherwise it was great. Looks good with the off the shoulder dress I bought to wear as a chemise and I am topping it off with an inexpensive corset.

This is the second I've ordered in the past seven years and it sadly has damage already. The seams are nowhere near very strong and will rip quite easily. This I don't mind as I can easily patch the holes with my sewing machine. The part I find less suitable is how short the lining on the inside is. For my figure it barely covered my butt, so I have taken to wearing shapewear leggings underneath. Defeats the purpose of the lining, but apparently it was necessary.

Needed a skirt for the Renn Faire. This skirt is full and absolutely beautiful, although it is a bit short. I am 5'8" and the hem ended north of my ankles. The fabric is really dry and scratchy, too. At my own risk, I did machine wash and dry the skirt on a gentle cycle with fabric softener and that really helped with the scratchiness.
