Works great easy to install Got to love it be sure and order the wall plate with it makes a real clean installation

I can't ask why I didn't order this before, because I didn't know it existed before. The moment I saw one in a clients house, I looked, found and ordered it. Installed it the day it arrived. It is wonderful. Girlfriend and I no longer have issues about when to turn the cooler on or off. Just set an agreed upon temperature and walk away! Don't have to worry about the dog overheating if I'm gone all day and it gets hot. During setup a minor issue with the temperature reading, but the instructions clearly showed how to fix it. Now let's see if the water/electric bill is higher or lower!

I installed 2 of these in my home 8 years ago. I just now had to replace one due to a power company brown out.

I've used this thermostat for years and due to a power surge at my home I had to order a new one. All the local places were sold out due to the power spike. It took a long time to get mine in the mail. I looked at the old one and the relay points were welded shut from the power surge. I just tweaked them with a screw driver and they popped open. I'm still using the old thermostat to this day and haven't installed the new one yet. So the product is great but the shipping sucks.

I do not know why I waited 9 years to buy this. This is AMAZING! It was simple to install (just make sure you mark the existing wires before removing your current controller). It does take approx 3 mins to wet the pads before the fan turns on but in theory, that makes sense. I did notice that when the air temp is close to the desired temp, it will turn on and off a bit so I would just help it out and turn it up or down. My fav thing is that it controls the temp when I'm gone. If I forgot to turn the swamp cooler off before going somewhere, I don't return to an ice box, or vice versa. Did I mention that I love it?!!!
