A seat when there is no place to sit outdoors

Use this for photo walk and wildlife shoot where I need to be low to the ground and patiently not move for several minutes while waiting for wildlife to approach my photo zone.
It is light. I attach it to my backpack. It will work for a hiking stick going downhill. Never need to use it going up hill.
Not sure how long the cloth seat connection points will hold up. For the service it has provided, if the seat failed, I would rebuy it.

It would be better if the cane handle didn't fold down so much. It's a little awkward in a large crowd to pick it up and put it back together quickly. Nevertheless, it's a high quality cane/chair and I was exceptionally grateful to have it. My 75 lb daughter even used it to stand on to see over the crowd. This was purchased specifically for the Women's March on Washington in DC. We walked 13 miles that day, the shoulder strap came in handy as much as the chair and the cane part did. Definitely recommend this.

I wanted to like this chair better than the Drive chair with the smaller, harder seat. But in trying them both out, this one was heavier, and taller (I'm 5'5" and this was too tall for me, cannot be adjusted.) My biggest complaint was that in order to fold the seat up and walk with the cane, you have to wrap a velcro strap around the folded up seat (like an umbrella) and then unwrap it every time you sit down. I want it for sitting down periodically when walking, or playing mini golf with the grandkids, so don't want to have to go through this unwrapping the strap and wrapping it up again every time. The other chair opens easily into a sitting position by just pushing down on the top of it, so I'm keeping it and returning this one. If you're taller, and going to be sitting for awhile instead of sitting/standing/sitting/standing, it's probably fine; the seat is a little softer and larger than the other chair so a little more comfortable once you're sitting.
