Good quality, easy to wrap, durable, but beware the lighter colors. They will show dirt pretty fast (I know, I know, I should have thought of that before I picked neon yellow as my bike's accent color).

I thought I'd add a review as most of the reviews are older and new information is, well, good. I've purchased this tape for several bikes in black, red and blue. I'll bet I've used it on five bikes over the past year.

What I like about it: It has a slightly spongy feel and the basketball-type texture feels great on the hands. Even when sweating up a storm, the tape never gets slippery. Despite what you might think, at least for the black, red and blue tape, dirt is not a problem despite the texture. The package includes enough tape to wrap both bars with about 4" to spare and includes some nice finishing tape (which is much better feel and quality than electrical tape). The bar end caps are black domed gel type and work well; two are included. The tape is strong enough that you can pull it quite tight and the adhesive holds it securely. Don't plan, though, to reuse this tape; the adhesive is quite strong.

What I think needs improvement: Depending on the color you order, the tape either has a black backing or a white backing. One order of red tape came with black backing and one came with white backing. There doesn't seem to be a rhyme-or-reason to which you get. The black tape did have a black backing and the blue tape had a white. From my experience, the white backed tape is lower quality than the black backed tape. I've noticed that, when using the white tape, the adhesive wants to stick to the pull strip and less to the tape itself, so you run the risk of pulling the adhesive off when installing. The white tape also seems to tear and stretch more easily.

With all that said, I like this tape. I like it enough to buy it five times and it's currently on all of the bikes I ride.

Feels amazing and is very easy to put on the handlebars. Definitely an upgrade from the traditional cork handlebar tape. Grippier and softer.

Not as pictured, but probably fine. Ordered pink. I don't think it is as dark as pictured, but my display isn't calibrated. Back of tape was white and that is sort of visible when wrapped. End caps were black. Finishing tape with logos is ugly. See photo. No comment on durability. It is probobly fine for about $10.
