I love native pecans they have more flavor than papershells, I have large native pecan trees in my yard but they didn't produce anything this past year do to the extreme heat. All of the local orchards where I live also had a loss in pecans this season so it was a really nice surprise to find these on Amazon and helping a family farm continue a long family tradition of growing, producing and selling pecans.

The most important thing I like was the freshness and color. The farm we use to live on had four big pecan trees so we're the nuts. So I know how they suppose to look and taste. When I open this well sealed bag and took the first bite I knew The Pecan Shop had hit a home run with me. I sent a few pictures so you can see what I liked. Delivery was right on time no complaints. What I didn't like was the price. I can't share these nuts because they would be gone before you know it. The nuts I have seen at some of these stores are so dark brown I wouldn't take a chance to eat them. I would love to get 30lbs of them, I will check and see if I save money doing this.
