Seems spicy to taste.I use to love these onions but I have not had for over 20 years. Maybe my taste buds have changed and do not care for it anymore. But the taste is not for me. I gave 2 stars because I did not like taste. Had nothing to do with vendor. Stars ask how much I like.

I don't know what the negative reviews are about here - heat this up to about 120 degrees F and they taste exactly like what I used to get from every corner Sabrett stand in NYC as a kid and young adult. Tangy, sweet, a bit savory and the onions have a nice slightly tight texture - super yummy just as I remember them. Amazing on a dog with some kraut and mustard, this is a memory of the Big Apple brought straight to my kitchen.

Love the onion sauce from Sabrett. The only issues are the price, it costly roughly $8 dollars a jar, but I couldn't find it anywhere else but online so if you like this onion sauce then you can't go wrong.
