DeWalt tools are really nice and you can't beat the price for this kind of quality. I am a DIY'er and had always used Craftsman tools, but they were getting long in the tooth. The Craftsman don't seem to be made as well as before and their designs are behind the times. So I started looking around at other brands and ended up buying a set of DeWalt sockets and was so impressed that I have bought more of their socket sets since.
These are every bit as good as more expensive Gear Wrench sockets, and in fact have a superior finish. While I have fallen in love with Tekton wrenches, I will continue to update my toolbox with DeWalt sockets.It's nice to find that since Craftsman has gone downhill that other brands are there to fill the void and offer affordable high quality tools.

I am not a mechanic that uses his tools everyday but working on an old Corolla for a few months, it did fine and still works. I used it for what it is made for, e.g., I didn't use it as a hammer if I was too lazy to get up and get an actual hammer, etc.,

I ordered both the SAE and Metric set together for just a hair over $40. I couldn't believe the quality for the price!! This has been one of my best tool purchases to date! Most sets cost double this DeWalt set, but what's worse, they usually stop at 19mm and 3/4" These sets have a few sizes BEYOND that which have proved to be so useful already while working on my Ford pickup truck. Messed around with some nasty, rusted bolts and these sockets maintained their integral strength without any sort of stripping. An added bonus...these sets are designed to have their plastic boxes stack on each other and clamp together which makes transporting an storing that much easier. An all-around win!!
