I really love the Mercury Rocket, but it appears the stickers that help with the visual features were to fragile verses what I have used hundreds of times with Estes rocket kits. Once I got the stickers ready to apply after soaking in water, they tore before I could get them positioned correctly. So I patterned with paint the best I could

Ugh this rocket is a pain to build. It's an older model just reissued. It's a level 3 or 4. For example to build thr wood fins need to be glued together. Then filed down to the correct thickness. Then cardboard pieces need to be glued with another wood piece. All of this to make one fin. DO Not get me started on the capsule or escape tower. Trying to glue ill fitting pices to make a cylinder or parts to make a triangle to fit on a circle is ridiculous. Great looking model, not for the faint of heart. Lots of skill is needed. Estes can do better designing this kit.
