Dear lord what kinda wheaties do they feed the kids in Taiwan??? Those Allen screws are insanely tight. Other than that, this is a great planer....comes with a sharpening stone too, which is great.

I thought I was going to strip the allen bolts trying to get the blades out to sharpen them. It was a good thing I had allen bits on a socket. It took the 3/8 to 1/2 in adapter and a 2 foot breaker bar to loosen the bolts. And I had to jam the drill press chuck with the planer in the chuck. The Allen wrench supplied was useless. Where do you think they are going to go? There is simply no need to tighten something that tight except maybe a cylinder head. I bought extra blades as well but I figured I'd give the provided blades the once over. I mean they cut, but not well. A quick honeand polish and this was off and going. Worth saving a few bucks as opposed to the offencive goughe others try to inflict for the name.. Same exact product.
