I cannot believe this set was just twelve bucks. It is worth twice that, easily. I like the little zippered bag it comes in, it makes storage very simple and both kids can do it. The colors are cheerful without being covered with cartoon characters or silly branding, it is simple and wonderful. It is very sturdy and comes with EVERYTHING your kids need for a play kitchen. My kids love playing restaurant and this set is perfect. I adore the teapot, it is easy to fill and easy to use without getting everything soaking wet like a different set we used. I would say that this would be a great gift for any kid who likes to have a play kitchen, it would be a huge hit. I wish the colors were a little less gender specific, like a blue place setting instead of two different pinks; but I don't care about boy and girl colors, so I don't care that my son likes it too. Some parents of sons may be put off by the colors, so gift as you see fit. Yellow, green, blue and pink would be a great improvement since blue is my daughters favorite color. Despite the missing blue, my daughter loves playing with it all the time.

This is actually quite a big set of play dishes. You get a teapot and lots of cups, spoons, plates, and other dishes for a tea party. I was impressed that so many pieces could fit in such a small bag. And the bag is even durable enough that my daughter continues to use it for storage (even after a couple months).
All the dishes are nice quality, too. I've had to (hand) wash a bunch of them (because my daughter makes "concoctions"), and they wash really well. We love the dishes and have zero complaints.

We use this in combination with the Pantry in a Bucket and Cookware set. My children play for hours almost daily with these items to create fun meals and just organizing the items in their play room and kitchen. The Teapot is the top item for my daughter as we have hot tea at home and so she really likes to serve me some hot tea herself! :) The serving tray is also very cute as it makes it easy for my kids to carry items around, but is also has helped them balance things better. The first time it seemed very difficult for them to carry things on it and now my 2.5 year old can balance it on one hand while she walks! This along with the other sets by Play Circle are great and well made.
