Burns Well, No Smell!

Exactly as advertised! Oil burns well and is truly smokeless and even better, there is no odor! Had a little bit of oil that leaked into the Amazon box but not really sure where it came from. The item was sealed and placed in a plastic bag so I don't think it came from the jug that was in the box.Likely residual. Just make sure you check the bottom of the box first before you put it on the carpet, bed etc...Overall though, I give it five stars since it is a great product.

I've filled several oil candles and lamps with this (they are either new or have been empty for years), and true to it's advertising the oil is odor- and smoke-free. This is great because I have a nose like a bloodhound, and so am very sensitive to smells. My only concern is the plastic of the jug---I don't know how well it will hold up long-term. I may repackage the oil in empty wine bottles (as soon as I can make them, lol). I can see myself getting more of this for emergency prep.

Let's face it, lamp oil is not an exciting topic, however if you're a frequent user of either decorative or functional lamps you know the irritating affects of dirty oil and smoke. I'm please to say that this particular product burns super clean, has a very low to no odor and is priced perfectly in a convenient gallon size container. Lamps are hungry beasts and the oil does go fast. Buy this product, it'll become your standard go to solution.

Excellent product from a sincere and reliable seller - thank you! I have purchased this lamp oil for my father's oil lamp that was given me after he passed. I light it every day - it burns clean and steady, no smoke or odor. I will purchase again!
One note, however - be aware that the large gallon bottle is fragile, and has a tendency to crack and leak if not handled carefully by the carrier. This has happened twice now. I now have it delivered to a nearby Amazon locker, where it has less chance of being dropped, tossed, or whatever during delivery.. just a note to Amazon and a suggestion that affixing a "fragile" label on the package might lessen the chance of damage. Thanks again!

I have not burned any of this product yet. I have begun to collect samples of elements from the periodic table. Some elements oxidize or corrode quickly in air so they should be stored in paraffin oil. To this end, the product has work fine. I cut in half a few pieces of sodium and potassium to expose their metallic properties and quickly immersed them in the paraffin oil. A I said, in air the metallic shine would very quickly oxidize, yet in the oil it remains lustrous. This oil is very clear and I am able to see my samples with no hazing or cloudiness. Hoping this review helps others with a similar need. I took a chance that this oil would work for the purpose I have stated and fortunately it did. If I get around to burning any of it, I will add that to this review.
