Garbage...garbage...garbage. Buyer beware. Do not buy this POS! Read the other reviews about it leaking from the bottom spigot. You can't get it to stop if you try to connect a hose, it just keeps turning and turning and turning. Wish I would have read the other reviews before buying this poorly designed product. I never write reviews but I'm so pissed off about the amount of money this cost.

Hand tightened the bottom drain valve and filled the barrel to check for leaks before moving to the area it would be installed. Leaked like crazy all around the outside of the drain fitting. I am waiting for the replacement to be shipped so I have a container/box to ship back the leaking one. How can something whose only purpose is to hoid water, leak the first time you put water in it!!! Very frustrating! This is not a small thing to ship back!! The other barrel that didn't leak had the back side 'blow out' so that it became top heavy on one side and fell over!!! It was on a flat surface w/ river rock around the base to stabilize it. Returning BOTH for a refund, BAD DESIGN!

the first time it rained, it filled it up! I like it, but then I noticed in the back where the indention is, that it is buckling/bulging. it hasn't compromised the barrel yet, and I hope it doesn't!
I also wish it had a better screen on it to keep mosquitoes from laying! I put a mosquito block in it to kill larvae.
NOTE: 3 months later the buckling in the back has gotten worse! It now has a small leak... 😣

Replaced most metal parts within three months. Slow leak. Bulging when full.
Looks way better than most rain barrels. Drilled holes in reservoir to drain, otherwise planter would be useless.
Don't forget mosquito dunks!
Find 1.5" flex hose for overflow. Hack saw to cut the plugs.
