Easy to install to the size you need. Thickness at 1/2 in is good unless you are going to be dropping real heavy items. Interlocking works well and set up a another mat out of my last three tiles. Only issue would be tiles spreading apart a little with fast footwork on mats or installing something heavy on mat by sliding rather than lifting it in to position. For those items you probably want rollout mats

It's pretty nice. Have a confession, I originally bought it to put under our swimming pool, thought it would make a nice cushy base, which it would work, it's a great product. However I was thinking of 24 foot squared not 24 square feet, lol. Not quite enough to fit under the pool. I could have ordered 3 more packs but that would have been too costly for me, so went back to sand under the pool and put these mats in my exercise room. I really like them there. I have plantar fasciitis and bunions and having these to work out on does seem to help with the pain. so two thumbs up, 5 stars, I like them.

should have paid a little more for a better quality - my 500 sq ft garage must have 6 to 8 different grey color tones to it. Had to return 5 orders back due to the wrong thickness, and when replaced with the proper thickness, these were a completely darker grey so I had to re-configure the mats so that they didn't stand out so bad. Didn't want to do "another" 5 order return so I just settled.- I ve had these in my garage prior, but they needed to be replaced. These mats have so much static electricity to them that I have to buy spray to stop getting shocked every time you touch anything (my old ones never did that)- Definitely worth paying a little more for a better quality.

I used these tiles to cover my basement for dog training. They are easy to assemble and provide decent cushion, but my Great Dane has put some decent scratch marks in them and his toe nails sometimes pull the edges up just by running. I won't use them again when redoing the flooring, they just aren't tough enough for my size dog.

These are amazing. My wife and I bought these as a play mat for our son but wanted to get something thick and durable so it's comfortable to play on but he won't scratch and pick it apart. So far they work perfectly. It's thicker than a roll out carpet mat so he feels comfortable on our concrete floors, but its tougher than some of the play mats geared toward kids so it'll take him a while to destroy it. It was a sacrifice to not have a mat with letters or numbers or whatever else they have, but it's worth it. As an added bonus, we can use to work out whenever he's not playing on it.
As a workout mat, I'm thoroughly impressed. I do very high impact workouts and I typically destroy yoga mats, so I was happily surprised when this mat didn't move or seem phased after working out on it a few times. The interlocking held up very nicely.
