Perfect Replacment for Original Item

Works as it should and is a direct replacement for the one included with Technics SL-1200 type turntables. My only complaint is that it does not have a vertical guide that helps align it. You have to do it by eyeing the tip of your stylus over the little notch in the tool. With a little time/practice it gets easy.

An essential tool for 230mm overhang turntables

If your turntable (Technics, and a few other) has a 230mm overhang specification, then you must own this tool. It makes setting overhang a snap. It is 52mm to the stylus tip. I also use it to set up my Pioneer headshell, which has a slightly shorter overhang spec. I used a micrometer to make a mark at 49mm. It works great!

This is the original Technics part and is easier than using a protractor to align correctly on a Technics SL-1200.
