great price.... the sound quality is okay..... i have been thru a few sets of the over the years. these usually last me around 1 year, but i play my music as loud as possible and these get salt water splashed on them at least twice a month all year long.. i say its a perfect speaker for the price point and the abuse i put them thru. if you want hi fidelity clear sounds, maybe you should listen to your home stereo. if you want to fish in the salt water and blast Pantera on #11 these are for you.

These are pretty Darn good for the price, actually would have paid a little more. The first set has lasted through 2 seasons so far, decided to add more with this purchase... There seems to be a lot of questions about cutting a hole in the fiberglass. We used a 5" regular hole saw, used masking tape on the fiberglass, and it was a perfect hole, no problems.... I did have to hand sand the hole to make it fit, but it's perfect. I don't think we would have been happy making the hole any bigger. You just have to spend a tiny bit of time sanding the hole to make them fit. Great bass, and sound... Very happy, and we are picky.....

Bought these for my boat to install in a new location on the swim platform. The speakers sound great, But the quality of construction is a little less than I'd hoped for. I read a review from another customer about the magnet falling off from the back of the small center speaker but figured it was an isolated incident.....It wasn't. I had already installed the speakers and used silicon liberally to aid in sealing water out. The seller suggested I purchase another pair and ship these back for a refund. I'm going to pull the grill off and glue it back on and hope for the best as I now know it's a problem with these speakers and there is no guarantee I won't get another defective pair. If, after reading this, I were to buy another pair of these speakers, I'd jostle them around a bit to be sure the magnet isn't coming off before installing.

Bought these and hooked them to a 50 Watt per channel Toshiba receiver/amp. Mounted them on a wall in my bathroom that gets a lot of steam with the shower running. Thought that I would need a subwoofer but the bass response on these speakers is good enough for rock and roll. Very clear highs and lows. Could use a little more of both but for the price and application, these are very satisfying.
