This was a good value, got the length to cut up into silver drawer sizes. So far it looks good, too soon to tell but the fabric smells like über BAD Vinegar or worse.
Thank goodness I didn't put it in my jewelry box in the bedroom!
It will work over a long period.

WE USE THIS BLANKET TO COVER STERLING TEA SERVICE. WE HAD A WEIGHT CHAIN SEWN AROUND THE EDGE SO AS TO JUST DRAPE OVER THE SILVER. REDUCES THE TARNISH BUILD UP VERY WELL.
Same material used in higher end sleeves and bags for silver storage.

I bought this to customize bags for my larger pieces of silver. I cut swatches to put in some pieces and lined my shelves with it. Anything that keeps the tarnish at bay is helpful. It's only been 6 months but so far so good.

I covered some plastic drawers I was using to put jewelry in. The drawers were in a 10 drawer plastic container set on rollers. It was actually meant for children's crafts and office products. I wanted something to put my jewelry collection in but wasn't costly and it fit the need. The drawer storage on rollers can be purchased at several places and very inexpensively. it was the least expensive and best solution I could find. I just didn't like my jewelry sitting on plastic. So this was the perfect, least expensive, and simplest way to make it into a jewelry container. I cut a pattern out of newspaper by tracing the drawer and adding a few inches because I wanted it to go up the sides of the drawer. - then cut the fabric from my newspaper pattern. (It didn't ravel), Then I used thin coat of glue (Elmer's) on the bottom of the drawer, and laid fabric on top. I made sure it was positioned right with the fabric going up the side by an inch or 2 - I glued the sides last and pressed the sides fabric with my fingers - presto! A jewelry holder I can roll around - as well as put things on top, and jewelry that won't tarnish (ok- only time will tell). The fabric was wide and just what I needed.
