Ashers has always been wonderful and they still are !!

Absolutely delicious. I love these. This is great tasting chocolate and contains tons of almonds.
The only drawback is no matter how much I eat, I want more, but too expensive to often reorder.

My favorite chocolate almond bars are those with a massive quantify of nuts, and this candy did not disappoint! I loved the taste of the milk chocolate, and I liked that the fact that the candy was wrapped in an extra layer of plastic wrapping to preserve the quality of the flavor!

This chocolate came packaged well; sealing in plastic bag within a plastic box, with bubble wrap, in a bubble USPS envelope. Broken into large pieces, which is what I would expect for a product called "bark".
The condition was dark and fresh. Good balance of almonds and chocolate. The flavor is not bitter but the cocoa content is rich. Not too much lecithin so it's smooth and melts nicely in the mouth; not waxy. Like any decent chocolate, don't hold in your fingers for long, it will melt. Less bitter than Ghirardelli, which has a slightly more dark roasted taste.
The price is better than other 60% chocolate which can be bought online. I like that it's made in the USA. May not ship well when weather warms up.

I highly recommend this chocolate.

This stuff is delicious but rather expensive. Moreover, the packaging is rather minimal - a plastic bag, essentially. When it was shipped to me, some of the pieces got stuck together because of the heat that the package incurred during shipping. Compare with the way Ghirardelli packages their chocolate bars - a foil inner wrapping and a cardboard outer wrapping that makes it much less likely to suffer damage in shipping and easier to open.
