Each of my five dogs wears one of these. We travel often to the National Forest and have yet to see a flea or a tick on any of the dogs after a walk in the woods. These are pricing but I believe they are worth it given that they last for 8 months or so.
Have used these colors for years, and never had a problem with them.

Based on my experience, I have been buying this product for my dogs for seven years, and I never have any problem with fleas or ticks. When you get it, you have to give it at least 24 hours to the collar protect your dog. I removed it for showering or a bath. But other than that is peace of mind.

I use this on both my long haired dachshunds & have now for 2 years this has worked for my 2 dogs!! I have NEVER EVER FOUND NOT 1 FLEA OR TICK!!! We live in the suburbs with wild animals roaming, yes your well 1 of my dog will scratch but she scratches with the Flea Pill she has allergies not from this not working. I keep mine inside except to go outside to potty so I don't give them any other chemicals to take like heart worm meds etc, heart worms come from Mosquitoes (at least 1 vet what he told me and if we kept them in not to give it to them) so we only use the 8 month Collar but we do Change it in the 7th Month. We also Spray our yard with stuff that kills Fleas & Ticks because of the heat here in Georgia last couple years and the rain we have had that also helps.
